I do see the point of what is labeled on boxes by some manufacturers. Thank you for the pictures. The SAAMI nomenclature for the approved cartridge is 45 Automatic. That is my point.

.380 is great it is technically called 380 acp but there is no other 380s so 380 is all you need to say

Because they don't build single car garages anymore?

You'll see those old drives every now and then and the garages they lead to are tiny!
Pull into one and you'll barley be able to get out of the car.

45 ACP is a designation for the gun and not the bullet it fires. If you have loaded ammunition from a reputable company that says "45 ACP" please post a picture. All of my ammunition states "45 Auto" or 45 "Automatic".

45 ACP = .45 Automatic Colt Pistol = 45 Automatic =45 Auto.
