You know, the ones that you close with a cupric leaden insert. The containers aren’t very efficient, as they store anywheres from between .07% and .6% of a canister. It takes thousands of those canisters. And I’ve got thousands and thousands of them, all storing powder.

    Just wondering.

At that point it you could have a truck load.

Problem with stored ammo is bullet retention. Doesn't mean much for handgun or rifle in what i consider plinking ammo but my match ammo oh no. Never more than a few weeks old at best. The cases relax, the bullets stick in the necks, SD's go through the roof. and it shows up on paper at 1000 yards as inexpiable high or low shots.

But to 99.9999% here that won't mean anything

When XM855 (GREEN TIPS) were going for about a buck/Rd, LGSs in Temecula had minimal 9mm projectiles and primers, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express then, learning .380 projectiles shoot fine in 9mm rounds (.355).

Big5 is/was getting out of reloading and I picked up a ton of them (win) all marked way down.

I hope they change their minds and restart.

First one I remember there weren't no Net. At least not the retail mega palooza we have today.

Wow, what a time that was. I found primers, but 231 was impossible. Bullets I could find for 9mm. I ordered the buckets of plated round nose. I also found suppliers I didn't know exist thanks to this site. Where I buy local was difficult at times, but he would give me a heads up on what's coming, but was still first come first served. I was retired so I remember being there first morning after a load came. Glad I was retired lol.

Projectiles I ordered by the bucket 4,000 pieces. Receive a bucket, then order another. By the time I was half way through the first bucket, the second would come in. If you have friends that don't reload, you had extra nice friends back then lol. They weren't going shooting because no ammo. Tell them I can spare 100 or so rounds, and they were like yes let's go. I remember the 5 dollars for 50 rounds of 22. Big 5 by me seem to always have them in stock.
