Lee Case Feeder Tubes - local source?

Anyone know where I can buy some Lee Case Feeder Tubes locally in the San Fernando Valley area or adjacent areas?

Have you tried Angeles and Oak Tree?

Not yet. I'm heading to A Place to Shoot tomorrow. Will check their small reload shop. Maybe I will swing by Oak Tree on the way home. Will have to check Angeles if I strike out.

I've never seen LEE for sale locally.

I really wish a shop would pull a titan reloading and pick up all the nitty gritty small stuff so I can go to a store and buy in person.

Paying double for a $1 part is not a problem given that I get instant gratification and save $7 on shipping. Hyperbolic statement, but it still holds true on paying $20 for a $15 (on midway) part.

Little things like extra shell plates, universal charging dies, powder drops, and even case feed tubes are stuff I would impulse buy in a heart beat. Walk in to buy two die plates, and walk out with $75 worth of stuff.

Go to TAP Plastics or some other plastic supply place.

Try looking for a shop that sells plastics. I found a place in Santa Ana that when I took some shot shell press tubes to were able to order them cut to length at a fraction of the replacement parts cost. Dont remember the name of the place. However a phone call to Paragon Plastics may get you steered to a place.

Got'em! Found them at the local fish shop. I was just down the street from them on another errand so worked out great.

awesome! glad you found them, it's always nice to find a local source for instant gratification, even if it's just a $5 tube.

Gotta ask tho, why does a fishing store carry plastic tube?

And why do you need replacement tube? I bought the LEE pack years ago, and I've never broken a tube, so I always have extras laying around, I can't imagine they are a consumable item...

Fish stores have them to replace intake tubes on filters and for bubblers and other similar stuff. They have quite a selection of diameters.

I need them for a DIY 3D printed case feeder for my Hornady LnL AP press. Pretty cool. So far its cost me about $20. A follow Calgunner was generous enough to print it for me. Almost done assembling it. Will test it and post up a video if you guys want to see it.

That's funny. I had a 50gal tropical tank for years. And somehow when you said fish store, I immediately thought for fishing, not for keeping fish.

                          Makes more sense now

Don't forget the lee case collator. All the non-motorized DIY options I've seen never include a case collator, and it defeats the purpose of auto-feed when you have to hand feed every case into the tube.

Unless you're printing the structure for a motorized feeder, in which case, even more awesome.

Here are some pics of the case feeder. I am still missing 2 small sections of 5/8" rigid tubing that is used to guide the case down to the case feeder arm thing of the press. I try to use the smaller 9/16" tube but it's too small and causes the case to get stuck.

I think this thing is actually gonna work. I'm pretty impressed. It's not my design. I know nothing of CAD design or 3D printing. Stumbled on it on the internet while shopping for the Hornady case feeder. Thought it was worth a shot. So far its cost me less than $20. Of course that is thanks to fellow Calgunner Reverser who graciously printed the pieces for me at no cost. Kindness of his heart. Refused any payment.

I'm surprised a funnel that steep does not allow cases to be fed upside down. When I used an actual funnel for my oversized case feeder (needed for 378wby-class case diameters or 45/70 size rimmed cases), cases went in upside down.

I ended up buying another lee collator and modifying it, worked much better.

Good stuff, I'm amazed someone would print that much at no charge. Maybe he's waiting for you to be his guinea pig and make one for himself after you work out all the bugs
