I never thought of waxing my brass....I'll check it out.
If the die is just touching the shellplate when in the raised position (with a case), Wouldn't it set the shoulder correctly?

Definately use a gauge of some sort. Do also look in the die to make sure you don't have a piece of media stuck in the die putting that dent on the cases....happens sometimes.

I am of the ink pad and lanolin lube age -- Usually every other case rolled across the pad is enough -- an unusually large chamber - like 303br, might require more -- my ha-penny

I was using a factory case as a guage. (removing the bullet and decapping pin) Then adding 1/16th turn for compression and flex. Good or Bad? I will check the die and brush it out. Thanks for all the halarious responses. And the informative ones too!
