Match rifles- yes

Handguns- not really a concern.

I have zero issue's with them. They load and shoot fine.

For 45 ACP the big deal now is SPP vs LPP.

When I shot PPC and even IDPA competition I would separate my once fire brass from range pickups. So if you plan on serious competition you should keep your brass segregated. Now if you are just plinking and having fun do not worry about it.

When I started reloading 9mm in 1982 not many others were. So when Law Enforcement started going to 9mm they would shoot at Fish Canyon and leave all that once fired 9mm brass. I would pick up 1000s in a day.

Actually, I have data showing there's no difference between starline 243 and Lapua 243 cases for my precision rifle.

I'll bet that will not be the case for winchester cases or other cheap 243 brass, but I have no data on that.

But my point is, there may be no measurable difference between quality brass and quality brass, even if your rifle is up to snuff
