quickload request for 458 socom with RL 7

can anyone do a quickload run on 458 socom with reloader 7
    Starline brass
    CCI 350 primer
    Remington 300 gr. JHP
    2.05 col

I'm looking for powder burn estimations mainly (if quickload estimates that). Trying to see if a few grains under max might help alleviate it. At 42 grains I have a lot of unburned powder.

    PS
I wanted to post an update and thanks on my seating depth problem with 458 but the thread was too old. Thanks everyone. Everyone's suggestions were right. I had bullet stretch, the seating stem on the redding was not optimal to protect against it, and if a recipe change can't help with unburned powder with RL 7 I will probably need a seperate crimp die.

FYI the FIRST thing I do when using QL is model a known load to see if it makes sense. If the model is crap, so are your conclusions. Since I have no data to confirm the model is good, I have to accept QL with blind faith. That's a dangerous thing to do.

    data attached.

I see I left hte barrel on the previous setting.

For a 16" barrel, drop powder burn efficiency from 3-6%.

It takes 30 seconds to go fix the barrel length.
Then copy the output and past it between code tags.
        MUCH cleaner than screen capturing.

              bullet gets longer when seating.

I had it in two different ways. Trying to force it in while also doing a really heavy crimp made the body of the bullet longer and some of the top flowed in through the seating stem gap rather that just being pushed down by the seating stem. So; I kept not seating along the cannelure because the bullet was being deformed / changing size and not really getting pushed down by the seating die (just making a ring around where it was being pushed on the bullet).

Since it looks like dropping the charge won't help with powder burn with reloader 7... I'll probably do the suggestion (from a old related thread) of making seating and crimp separate steps. A lee crimp die is only $13 for 458 socom...

OP you didn't ask this, but why not use 296?

BTW the factory crimp die is excellent.

Mostly because I have five pounds of RL7 left. After it is gone I'm open to 296 or H110. Is 296 working for you?

With barnes 300 gr., it performed as expected.

                      H322 worked but velocities lagged.

The dangeros vs near max comment is purely based on the pressure of the load vs the pressure of the cartridge that you specify in Quickload.
If you change the max pressure of the cartridge to be higher, you can make those messages disappear.
