Sounds like a fun idea when you first think about it.

However like everyone else said you need to be focus on what you are doing.

Distraction is not a good idea.

Yea, I know. But for a class type setting, 100 rounds would be a good number to start with. Personally, I don't load less than 100 round of anything (including 50BMG) unless, it's a special round, like lead free bullets or, it's for R&D or load development.

You just dont know the right people haha.

But if you want to get precise, if you have people with Dillion and other progressive presses you will have at least 8-16 lbs per person. now multiply that by 10 guys, 20 guys.. etc Do you know the legal limit of powder that can be stored at a given household?

Darklyte posed a good question. How much powder can you store @ Home?

Should I spread it around & keep some in the dog's house? It's detached...

I've had two guys over & we had the 650's & the Rockchucker in use. It was a bit distracting, I was using the Rockchucker to pull bullets & helping out one guy on a 650.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

The only squib I have ever produced, was while loading with my brother, and he was in a hurry to crank out a lot of ammo for a shooting trip the next day. Luckily I read a lot about guns and gun safety, so when I got the squib I followed a procedure I had just recently read about. I almost dropped the hammer on the next round, but then decided to listen to that little voice inside, that said, "remember what you just read about misfires"?

So, in conclusion, I'll come to the party, drink the beer, throw some charges, do some seating and crimping maybe, drink some more beer, but don't ask me to use any of the ammo produced.
I ain't got no safe queens, I shoots em all.

Yep, I know the legal limits of powder storage at a residence. I also know that it varies from place to place and in many places, it can be increased with a powder magazine. Right now, my powder magazine is NOT at my residence. Instead, it is kept at an undisclosed location. I'm guessing it has about 150 lbs of smokeless powder, 15-20lbs of black powder fanging from ffffg to cannon grade and at least 50,000 primers. I also know that I can load about 7000 rounds of .25 acp with one pound of powder but, a lb of powder will only load about 27 rounds of 50BMG.

If you were planning on having a reloading party to teach people how to reload, your goal would not be to produce rounds in bulk but instead, it would be to teach the fundamentals. I think 100 rounds of any caliber would be a good start.

Yay, reloading party at my house!!! It'll be me, myself, and I

Seriously, I will have a buddy or 2 for some serious mass production.
                    Like Joelogic mentioned:
A swager/primerpocket cleaner, a de-primer and a loader(most likely myself) then rotate duties after showing them how to load. That is how I'd do it...

Are powder magazines a DIY item, or are they purchased? I seem to recall seeing plans to make them online before.

I believe you can do either. Mine was given to me when the shop I worked at closed.

So judging from that picture, is a powder magazine another name for a plywood box?

Reloading ammo is like using the bathroom......something you do all by yourself.

I can hear it now, "Hey Joe!...Did you charge that tray of .308 before Ted
                              loaded them?"
