It's really not something that I would care to do in a large group setting. Reloading is simple but, it does take some focus and attention so as not to make a mistake. I think that in a group setting, it would be too easy to get distracted for a second and make a critical mistake. I have had a couple of calgunners over at different times and gone over the basics with them. I sure don't mind doing it again if anyone wants to. I can also help with casting bullets if anyone is so inclined.

Carrying on a conversation is not something you would want to do when you're reloading. As the previous post, reloading is a detail oriented activity and any additional distractions is undesireable.

Even if you wanted to do this, you would need multiple presses and powder measures, etc..

Reloading group: Hey guys isnt this really fun who wants a beer? Load, load, load and talk, talk, talk.........

Day at the range with reloaded rounds: Hey are these the reloaded rounds from the night before? BOOM!

I think I will do my reloading in a bit more controlled and quiet venue.

Reloading must be done with strict concentration. Besides, 3's a crowd and that just gets too hard to anyone to concentrate and do the reloading properly.

With a group build party everyone can be working. Reloading would take a machine per person. But I guess someone could sort, one could tumble, one could decap, someone could swag and someone could load. If anyone wants to volunteer to work on the production line for me let me know.

Over the years I have helped a people get started with reloading and taught my son inlaw and grandsons , I am open to doing more of it in the future and have a fellow CGer that is taking me up on the offer when my work schedule eases up a little but this is best done is very small groups with no distractions . all it takes is one case without powder or a double charged to ruin everything .

Given today's prices, I doubt there would be TONS of powder or primers. I could see a beginner class of ten students having 100 primers each and a pound or two of powder between them.

No kidding, not exactly a 'reloading session' considering you can shoot that 100 rounds in few minutes.

The only thing I bother loading under 100 of, is for hunting.
