Not H335 & TAC. They are different, confirmed by the handy burn rate chart: https://www.hodgdon.com/wp-content/u...rate-color.pdf

Why did you start near the top of the data you had?

I think two ways to be safe. One pull the bullets and start over. Two, use the same bullet, oal and load some working your way up and chrono, and inspect for high pressure. But that's me overly cautious.

I also load 25 gr of H335 w/all 55 gr projectiles (FMJ, SP and V-max). I did compare lengths of each bullet so that I could come up with the same space between the base of the bullet and the powder. FMJ is seated to 2.2 and SP is seated to 2.18. Since the seating die setting is the same for the SP and the V-max, I bought a second seating die so I don't have to mess with the setting for the FMJ which is the bullet that I shoot the most of.

FWIW, 25.0g H335 under a 55g fmjbt @ 2.25 COL (center of cannelure) is perfectly fine. I've settled on 24.7g as my pet load for range fodder, but I'd be satisfied with 25.0g any day. It's closer to the higher pressure side, but it gives a good clean burn and does not seem to wear out the brass over many firings through the same cases.

My load in .556 55gr with LC brass that has the least amount of volume is H335 24.8.

                  Non LC brass is .223 55gr H335 25.0 gr.

Don't think LC 5.56 is any thicker than anything else. LC 308, yes, but not 5.56.

                      That seems reasonable.
