What I do is pop out primers and size on press then clean .
Since I use tool heads , I keep 3 for the 308 and 2 for the
    223 . [ I also have 2 for the 45 - had 3 but way more so .
308s a nephew bought another set of 308 dies .
FYI - I use the white PVC couplings with caliber printed on
    label for reloading .
Depriming gets the gray coupling with caliber printed on
    label for reloading .
Don't know what to say tried it over and over discount works
$10 and some change off $3 and some change shipping your
about right $7 and some change savings $7 is still better than
nothing, can apply that to something else... oh well

To me it was not worth waiting , posting and find out it did
      not work / expired .
I had already had Lee send 3 more universal decapping and 3
more sizing for 308 . The nearest store that stocks them is
about 30 minutes away if good traffic . To and from an hour
+ line and looky lou - at least 3 hours .
Yes I like to have spares .

Rock , to late , I already ordered and they sent an email
that it is on it's way .
I put in a bid on the RCBS one won it . One RCBS came
today and with the other 2 RCBS coming and the mighty armory
          decap die .
I have to order more turrets / tool holders .
One nephew ordered an extra die set for the 223 and one
          ordered a set for the 308 / 762 , so I have dies already .

On a side note, my 8 year old grand daughter just deprimed 500+ pieces of .357 brass with my Lee universal deprimer with out any trouble. They are here visiting from Switzerland, I could use that kind of help more often!

Pistol brass is done by hand . If I / we go thru a lot of 45s ,
then they will go on press for depriming
Where I have problems is with the 308 and 223s . bottle
necks are done on press .
90% of time it is a nephew or niece that bends / breaks a
pin . It could be them or slop in the loadmaster not indexing
right . Maybe a bent case base .
Yes , I know that depriming and sizing with the same die lines
up everything better , but I prefer to do one thing with each
die . I hope the depriming case is lined up by the sizing die .

The problem with using a universal decap on the loadmaster is the shellplate does not always center the case and you end up hitting the web, which will break the pin. I decap and resize all rifle cases in one operation if I use a progressive. Spray them down with One Shot or lube them up with Unique and go to town. One operation, no broken pins. Never broken a pin on a crimped in primer.
It SHOULD go without saying that I check each and every case for gravel etc. inside them, because that is how pins get broken as well.
The only other option if you are depriming to wet tumble and then resizing after tumbling is to use a hand deprimer like the Frankfort setup while watching TV, then wet tumble, then lube, resize, trim, prime, charge, and seat bullet.
Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

Call him run-like-hell-when-shtf-guy or dial-911-guy but NEVER call an unarmed man "Security".

out with a .223 die set in mid Feb. Here is a code to get some money
off, don't know how long it will work for. "WEEKDAY" give it a shot it
                  works at time of this.

I use the frankford hand on pistol cases .
Too hard on bottle necks .
A couple of things about the load master is / are the barrel / piston
is not keyed only held in place with a tightened bolt . I don't
remember if I replaced the washer [ maybe flat or lock ] with an
inside star / shake proof .
Years ago I had the pusher / flipper bar made out of stainless steel
[ bad idea wore out the shell plates ]
Then brass which worked a lot better . I had them make me 2 more ,
but the plant closed about a year after I retired and I am on my last
                    one . [ that was 2002 ]

Another thing that can break a pin is an off-centered flash hole. I've had some GFL brass (Fiocchi) where the hole was at the edge of the primer pocket. One *should* be able to feel it before it happens, but not always.

I can feel , but I have nephews / nieces that consider reloading
                        a trip to gym .
The cases are hand placed [ takes to long to load feed tubes ]
and the way I am set up - 1st decap , then resize .
Fired cases are put in a loading block , spray lubed and set to dry .
Yesterday the mighty armory decap came in mail along with other
                        2 RCBS cies .
Since I only have 3 308 sizing dies , one of the RCBS will go to
223 and the mighty armory decap into a 308 tool head .
Another 2 die set for the 308 is on it's way .
