I've gone to LAX Ammo twice since the New Year, and both times I was in and out in no longer than 10 minutes. Didn't have to wait in any lines or anything, just had a hard time making a decision lol. I'm not sure how other stores have been, but if you should def check them out

Many rolled their eyes at those who didn't freak out and stock up. Others rolled their eyes at those who freaked out and stocked up. While many were spending their Christmas money frantically stocking up in December I was selling all I could.

It's likely that the people who stocked up are helping the current situation keeping the demand down and the lines short. The prices will have to go up when stores realize that their employees are now tied up dealing with ammo. Walmart, Big5, and the like won't be impacted since they always had their ammo away from access. Places like Bass Pro & Cabella's I imagine will be hit hard. They got pretty busy as it was and you often had to take a number to see guns. Now some of those employees will be tied up doing ammo so they'll either loose sales or have to put on more staff. Both cost money and it would make sense that they raise the ammo prices as needed to compensate. If places like Walmart decide to capitalize then all the prices will go up even more. If they keep their prices as they've done in the past it'll keep the competition going preventing the others from going too high.
