I've been using my Dillon Terminator scale for the past 8 years and have not had a problem with it. I found that when I run on batteries I have slight differences in measurements when I shut it down so I run it plugged in.

My Lyman micro touch 1500 is going strong almost 8 years now with no problems. It's my primary scale so I use it for loading everything to weighing arrows.Comment

I have a list of things that take batteries .
I buy at costco and when the time jumps forward or
back - the clocks , meters , garage door , flash lights - everything gets it's battery changed .
As for the electric scales , both take 9 volt and get plugged into wall [ they are left on .]life member - CRPA and NRA
