California "FFL 03 Friendly" Ammunition Dealers starting 1/1/18

So, judging by the emails I?m starting to receive, did today?s ruling mean that anyone can now have ammo shipped to them in CA?

Yes, until CA gets the 9th to issue a stay. Online sellers may not know about this yet nor feel comfortable. Contact your preferred seller and inquire.

SO please keep in mind the folks on this list for your future orders. They have supported CA in the best way they legally could when others wouldn't bother.

Shipping charges are a joke though. They wanted $55 to ship 10 boxes of 30-30

Yeah, shipping is expensive. BUT... make sure you select the right shipping with the drop down in their cart. They have a few different options that can lower the price. And that said, I compared the same exact items in cart with a few other online shops and even with the higher shipping cost, it came out to be cheaper with GMan anyway. So it just depends on what you're buying and how much.

NICE !!! Great share ! If you guys are frugal, (CHEAP) like me, you also look for ammo dealers that do not charge tax to California residents. St Barbs Bullets is one, (https://saintbarbsbullets.com/) and Skogens is another, (https://skogensgunsupply.com/). They have great prices too, I have used both. Gotta love saving a few bucks. ✌

I just ordered from aeammo after reading their policy that they will ship to a FFL03 in CA....but upon ordering I see ""Shipping to California is prohibited" so I contact them and was assured I can ignore that so I did

I also asked what will they do If my order goes missing and they assured me they will make it right

So i ordered in the afternoon yesterday and woke to find Its already shipped....nice....now lets see if the pkg can survive the gauntlet of thieves within Fedex

edit...got my delivery safe and sound...VERY well packed and discreet

They charge tax... and the charge insane shipping, even though their prices are better than most.

Any follow up on Natchez? The spreadsheet and this post seem to reference a different company in Chattanooga... Or does Chattanooga Shooting Supply own Natchez?

I emailed my request to id@natchezss.com. It looks like the email was forwarded to ffl@chattanoogashooting.com. I received a reply from custserv@csiusa.ws stating that they no longer accept type 03 or 06 ffl?s for ammunition shipments.

I tried to buy ammo from @Midwest Gun Works as they were in the spreadsheet as FFL03/COE friendly only to find out they would ship and will only do to FFL07 or Ammo Vendor

Unfortunately, per our company policy, we can only ship ammo to CA to an 07 FFL dealer or a CA Ammo Vendor License holder.
