I just emailed TargetSports with links to and quotes from PC 30312 and 30314.

I'd recommend everyone to do the same. I understand that there are few C&R licenses in California (a little over 5000 according to the last report), and they probably can just write it off and not lose much profit, but this is just ridiculous.

I wish our rights weren't infringed by those businesses directly depended on us exercising those rights.

So in another thread, DOJ has removed the exemption for not just FFL but also LEO.

Everyone needs to email them and tell them to stop the FUD. If we hammer them with emails they may talk to an actual CA gun law attorney and correct course.

LAX is giving warnings for last day to order in CA too.

That part (PC 30352) only applies to ammunition sold or transferred by licensed ammunition vendors.

C&R are exempted from using licensed ammunition vendors by PC 30312, 30314.

I don't see how DOJ can legally remove the exemption via "regulations" when the exemption is written into law

That's how I read it too, but it would be nice to have confirmation from one (or more) of the legal experts here.

I just renewed my COE, just so I could continue to buy ammo from Target Sports, as well as others. I hope it wasn't a waste of time and money.

Yep Target sports is no longer accepting order for CA even with FFl03/COE. As of 5/22 they understood the law and were good to go per my comms with them. today i get notification no longer accepting ffl03/coe 2 week after charging me for my next years prime membership - needless to say, since i had it is writing prior to the charge that charge is being disputed as well as letting them know they are wrong in their interpretation. BUT in the end it is their decision as a business.

Let's move on from them - there are still a few left that will do business with us.

Sooner or later, it appears, this will come to a head.....

Of course I just submitted my ffl03/coe application yesterday and now I see online vendors are jumping ship. Bleh.
