    Vectan Prima V

I want to buy a 1.1 pound container to try out. Anyone know of a shop in the Modesto, Stockton Sacramento area that carries this?

    thanks

Hard to find and getting harder. Midwayusa won't have any until 7/18 according to their site. The only place right now I can find is powder valley.

Shop at Powder Valley for all of your reloading supplies. Reloading Presses Ship Free.

Just got done loading some 9mm with it 30 minutes ago. It goes a long way. You will like it and it meters well. I let it set overnight in the powder feeder to settle.

It's "fluffy" type powder . The first time I filled the powder feeder I was adjusting it (for more than usual it seemed. (It could just be me&#128579 . I remembered reading once a guy let it set overnight. I did that. I made one adjustment and 400 rounds later it was still spot on. Will be doing more today........

Cheep. I don't think I said that ...did I? I'm just saying I tried what another loader recommended and it worked for me. After 6000+ rounds now with PV I still do it that way. Come to think about it I did that with another powder last week out of habit..... Do what ever works for you..

Vectan powder can be like gold sometimes. Very much prized and hard to find. I use AS and A24 powders. Both very similar to Prima V. What caliber are you loading for?

Prima V is the darling of USPSA currently, since N320 is so expensive.
