Well I guess it has begun!

Gonna try to flip a few other things and make my way up to that wet tumbler...
My Frankfort hand deprimer has been through at least 100,000 cases so far with two issues:

    1) needed to be disassembled after about 30,000 and cleaned and lubed (since the factory was not lubed).

    2) return spring broke around 70,000, had spring laying around that I just trimmed to fit and works even better than OEM.

I use these trays over a five gallon bucket, I use the 1/4" and the 1/100, shake out the pins and set the tray in the sun to dry. If I'm in a hurry I can use a hairdryer and get them sorted and dry in less than five minutes.

I don't like where that lyman has the vents as there will be some water leakage from time to time and it looks like it will drip right in the vents. Frankfort gets my vote.

The Harvey is a great solution when you've got a couple thousand rounds of mixed brass, a nice day, pleasant beverage, and a comfy chair in the back yard. It's nice not to deprime at a press when you've got nice weather.

If you get one, get some extra pins; you'll break 'em from time to time. A pin swap takes only a few seconds.

If dealing with crimped military brass, a leather glove is helpful to avoid pinching your hand; with bare hands, from time to time you'll lay a nasty welt on yourself just below your index finger. This is, of course, super manly and'll put hair on your chest, boyo, but if you're already furry enough, use a glove.

It's a nice tool. I like sitting out in the sun to deprime; this 'TV' thing that you speak of not being my thing. I watched something called 'The News' once, but the plot sucked and the acting was terrible.

I'm using pet store lizard terrarium crushed walnut and a couple squirts of meguiars cleaner wax with the brass. Does a really nice job.

Pic of twice fired PMC brass I processed today attached. The walnut and the meguiars does a really nice job of getting it clean and polished. The meguiars has wax in it too so the thin coat of wax actually allows the brass to come clean after the next firing too with less tumbling.
Wondering if Turtle wax spray wax would do the same thing? Great, easy idea.
