[QUOTE=Scratch705;20505154]all those old guys that horded to re-sell will have a rude awakening starting jan 1st 2018./QUOTE]

All those old guys? Why, you young whipper-snapper!

I'm an old guy, and hope the hoarders, young and old, lose their butts trying to move their hoard. I plan on having plenty of cash on hand when it happens.

I have hoarded for my own use...don't plan to sell...but if I did...should I not be entitled to a profit? For taking the time and having the resources to plan ahead to help those in need?

If prop 63 results in a box of 50-9mm costing $20.00+tax and I sell you a box for $12.00 no tax and I paid $10.00 for it...I'm the bad guy?

Free market, free enterprise...black market prices will stabilize themselves

Just like our F'd up off roster marketplace...I don't think the $4000.00 Scars did very well

Only ever stocked up for my own use. But when fear and panic set in my mercenary capitalist side kicked in. Now I've replenshied what I've sold/traded off. Of course I don't really own any of it it belongs to the kid and grandkid and I just store it.

My sentiments, precisely. The impending ammo permit and background program is absurd. To me, the background check prefaced with a required $50 permit amounts to a presumption of my guilt until I pay the government to prove my innocence. I'm not biting.

I'll have enough rimfire to last quite a while, and components enough to get me through the next shortage. I got caught last time :-/

              I've been stocking:
              1) federal automatch 3250 round cases
              2) CCI Standard velocity 500 round bricks
              3) CCI mini mags

Not sure what I will be able to find next year in the local market for 22lr, which I cannot reload for...I can reload for all my centerfire cartridges so I've been mainly just buying components when I find them. Haven't bought centerfire ammo (besides some self defense 9mm loads) in years.

It's official. I've been out to lunch.

Short sightedness. Time to buy like heck now because when Kamala or any other lib takes the governor's office, things will get bad. Thanks for the friendly advice. I'm going to pick up as much ammo as I can now, while I still can.

Haha, 1400 for 73 bucks??? Before idiots start hoarding for that much you would pay 45 bucks. No thanks. I have my 22lr stocked years before it became a hoarding event.

                      Prices are great everywhere.
Why would anyone be stupid enough to buy golden bullets?

I've got 20 or 30K, stocked up to last me until I move out of California, and back to America this next spring. Mostly don't want the grand-kids to run out.

Have any of you donated to NRA or CRPA . A bucket of 22 lr money from each of us might help .

Mini mags for 6 cents a round. I have a funny feeling, that prices are going to skyrocket soon.

Yup. I also buy everyone in my family an NRA renewal for Christmas every year. Thanks for bringing that up. Too many fence sitters in the shooting world.
