Imperial sizing wax is the bomb

I got a can of Imperial sizing die wax and the lyman dry case neck powder and together they make sizing a case easy peasy. I usually make my own 10/1 Alcohol/Lanolin mix and spray lube when i do a couple hundred which works great. Sometimes the expander ball can get a little tough on the thicker brass. I took 20 LC Nato stamp cases that I picked up at the range which looked pretty clean and did a quick wipe down with a cloth.
Put a little imperial on my fingers and rolled 5 cases at a time between my hands. Dipped a q-tip in the dry lube and dry lubed the case mouths. It was amazing how easy they all sized and the cases where all shiney after wiping the case lube off. Long winded story about how smooth the imperial wax and mica powder work together. I bet I could lube 20,000 cases and barely put a dent in the 2oz can of wax.

Yup, never had a stuck case with Imperial Sizing die wax and Imperial Dry neck lube. Have sized over 10k cases with that 2oz tin can.

Hornady Unique is good too.

I do not know if ISW smells as good as Hornady Unique, but I DO know that you can also use Hornady Unique as other lube in a pinch if you have to AND it leaves a nice scent.

Imperial wax is the best way to go. A little does go a long way. way better than rolling cases on a pad or spraying a batch of brass.

20,000 might be a stretch. I got 7,000 or so out of my first can, but I'm being extra-stingy on my second can and will probably get over 10,000. I just love the stuff.

I tried the wax and did not like it - maybe I was using to much / too thick a coat , but it was building up in dies . The ground mica works well on magnum pistol rounds , but not on bottle necks .
Right now I am using RCBS pump spray on the 308s .
357 , 45 , 44 and 50 AE still get the ground mica .
Yes I still have a bunch of different case lubes . They are mainly for showing / teaching nephews / nieces [ add another niece - marriage in Oct ]

If it gets hot in the garage, make sure the tub is stored LEVEL.

I tried it and liked it, but the Dillon case luv is so much faster.
