    Found 500 158gr JHPs...what load for .38/.357?

I found that I have 500 158gr JHPs and more than enough .357 or .38 brass to stuff them in. What's your favorite load? Thinking of stuffing them on top of about 5.2grs of CFE in the .38 and 6.2grs CFE in the .357.

10.0 grains of blue dot. Good load, not too stiff.

        I like 4.0gr 700x under 158gr jacketed bullets in a 38 case. This is +P in 38.

What maker of bullet are you using OP? Seems like Blue Dot would work in the .357.

I use Blue Dot for .357 magnum and Unique for .38 special. I'm happy with the results.

Unique or Clays for my .38spl. Actually, for my 1911 .45auto also.
                          158gr L-SWC by X-treme for the .38.

                            I really liked 16gr AA#9 for the 125gr.

Whatever you do, just stay away from 125gr pill with blue dot in 357 mag. You will die. They say so on the site.
