Looks like I ****ed up a bit

So I left some powder (lil gun) in the hopper for a while and now it's caked onto my dispenser. Anybody ever have this happen? Anyone have any idea on how to clean it off?

Harbor freight sell an engraver [ for writing your name on tools .
Turn it on and stick end in powder - start moving around - it will vibrate most loose . BUT don't touch sides - it can poke a hole in it .
You can take it apart and put in freezer when it thaws out it might fall lose .

Wipe it down with a rag then blow it out with anair hose then wipe it down with a used dryer sheet to kill the static.

Take a anti static wipe from wife's laundry room and wipe outside of powder measure and inside plastic tube.

You should do this before each loading session.

It's not static that's holding the powder to the dispenser. Wiping down will not remove it. The powder is actually melted in the plastic. When I scape it off with my finger nail there are small divots. I will try taking the machine apart and scrubbing it though

Hasn't happened to my cheap Lee dispensers. I leave powder in there all the time too.

If it got THAT hot in your garage such that the plastic in your hopper is melting, maybe it's too hot to store powder in your garage. Not because of fire hazard, but because the instructions on the bottle say to store in a cool, dry place.

Dump it out and use nylon brush o clean then use hot water and dawn dish soap to wash with brush and dry thoroughly. Need to remove hopper to clean properly.

Yeah my garage gets hot too...I empty the powder measures back into the jug, and store the jug in a closet in the house. I then put a dryer sheet in the powder hopper. Keep my primers in the house too. I almost scored an old flammable material storage cabinet free from work but it walked off before I could take it home. Was planning on storing powder and primers in it.
