223 is a great caliber to load for. You can use one primer, one powder, one case to load basically any weight. There's exceptions obviously, but in general most people fall within a range of just needing one powder.
I might just consider doing this.

Take a look at the thread I created a while back.
Lots of good info in it.

I have gone as light as 62gr accurately shooting a reduced 600yd target at 200yds.Through a estate sale Ill try some 52gr match bullets next.
For me Varget covers every rifle cartridge I shoot, from the lightest bullet to the heaviest, and handles temp extremes with very little deviation from established zero from one location to another.

N135 is a great 223 powder or H322. H322 covers a wide range of bullet weights. H322 may not push heavier bullets as fast as a slower burning powder but it is clean and very accurate.

I love h322 for target shooting out to 200 ish yards. Super accurate, very economical, and meters amazing!

But it shoots slow. Really slow. You'll have drop problems at long ranges, or energy problems hunting bigger game.

It's still my go-to powder since I'm making fairly short shots. I can use a hair under 22 grains of powder for a great load. More rounds per jug.

Once you've chosen a Barnes bullet that works for your twist rate. Review the Barnes load data to see what powders they recommend.

At least it's a place to start. Also, pay attention to how far they recommend to seat them.

Big fan of Ramshot TAC for .223 and .308. Shoots great and meters like water, perfect in a progressive press.

Am I the only one that still LOVES H322? My M70HV and it get along really well with 40 grain Noslers FBs.
