    Time for a Coax Party

I have been reading a lot about how great these Forester Coaxial Presses are.

I say all those interested meet up with the next guy who says he has one set up & operational in his reloading garage. What say you?

I say if you can get more people exposed to a Forester CoAx the better.

I had mine for 23 years and would not trade it for anything out there on the market, its a tank and makes great ammo, and yes before i had a Rock Chucker before i had it

I do not get it. It is a single stage though yes? So you can have it, but for 9mm and .44 and gofast ammo, Turret or progressive is the ONLY way to fly...

              How is a Turret Better?

I've read many people's claims that a turret will outperform a co-ax, but I don't understand how. Granted, I've never used a turret press, but I can slip a new preset die into my co-ax just a quickly as you can rotate that turret to a new station. Additionally, my dies stay pre-set for the co-ax and don't require adjusting when they are put into a turret head.

Perhaps I'm mis-understanding the function of a turret press. Isn't it basically a single stage press with multiple places to pre-stage dies? Do you still batch process one-step at a time? Or do you rotate the turret to perform multiple operations on the same case (i.e. semi-progressive).

Thanks for clearing this up for me!

Having a turret is like having 4 single stages side by side each with a different die. So in four pulls you have a complete round, but you never had to touch a different press

recently picked up a bolt action and was looking at picking up a coax. watching videos on the coax sold me. waiting on my refi to close and ill be picking one up along with a dillon rt1500 to trim 308. then picking up an inline fab press mount with quick change plates.

I have one. For long rifle rounds or precision rifle rounds can't be beat.

If you load anything else or do any volume, especially pistol, not having a Dillon cannot be justified. No reloader ever, that's honest and semi intelligent, has ever regretted getting a Dillon. I use my grandpas 550, I'd stop shooting pistols before is load on anything less. I'm saving for my own 650 or preferably a 1050 if I can justify it

With my daughters helping resupply me I can crank out 500 in 1.5 hours of 45acp. No auto case feeder and no bullet feeder

As a single stage and turret owner, I will say that you should wholeheartedly just buy the CoAx outright. You won't be sorry.

Get a 650 whenever you decide you need to crank out pistol ammo in quantity. But a solid single stage like the CoAx is an excellent tool to own.

My Co-Ax says Bonanza on the side. I have had it a loooong time. Its getting pretty loose and it's going back to Forster soon for some love. Other presses have came and went. This one stays.
