Is it legal to buy ammo online and ship to Contra Costa County?

No shipping to cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Carson, Sunnyvale, or Sacramento due to local laws. There are no county wide restrictions.

Contact the vendor you are going to use. Use search function. Find out if your county allows it. Simple to do your own due diligence.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Any idea which one is better for shipping? UPS or FedEx?

Depends on how much you buy and where. Buy a case at target sports and shipping is free. Not hard to find deals like that.

Midway USA is quoting 12/24/2017 as last day to order because the transaction must be completed prior to 12/31.

Sacramento city not county. City ordinance calls for a thumbprint and paperwork.

go to midwayusa.com then get on chat with customer service tell them you want to buy ammo and live in CA and want to know if they can ship to your address. They will look up your address by zip code and tell you if they can. I just found out today that ammo cannot be mailed to City of Sacramento zip codes, however ammo can be mailed to Elk Grove and Sac County.

Fedex tends to be a bit cheaper.
