    amazon reloading stuff

Does anyone know if you can get supplies like bullet/brass from amazon?
    Maybe even ammo?
I am just getting started with an account with them and know very little of what they carry/sell.
I just bought a winch for my pick up and that is all I have done with them.

    Thanks for any help.

Bought my Hornady manual from amazon and a few RCBS tools. I think I got free shipping via amazon prime

Doubt they sell loaded ammo or reloading components.

Did you search Amazon? Pretty easy way to figure out what they have. LOL

It's easy to find hard ware like dies or presses and I've seen brass on there but not the other components.

You can get some things there; until recently you could actually get brass, but they no longer allow it to be sold, as they ban the sale of all ammunition components. I would guess that that trend will continue and they'll gradually eliminate tools, etc.

In short, unless you're thrilled with giving money to people who want to dictate how you live your life, I'd look to vendors such as Brownells, Midway, Grafs, etc.

I buy all the time from Amazon. Use shop42a to donate part of the sale to Calguns. I shop everything for price, some are better than others, some are a downright ripoff. Be a wise shopper.

Dude for real. How is asking on here easier than typing "9mm" into Amazon 😂

I did type in bullets and brass but got nothing. I was just not sure if there was something I was missing.

                Thanks for the help.
I do buy from Graf, ammoman,J G sales, Cabelas, Bass Pro and Midway and such. Just thought that amazon might be another source.

SixPointEight--- I did search for 264 win mag and other brass but got nothing.
Steve G-- I did try to search but got nothing. PS--I load my 9mm ammo.
That is the reason I asked here where there are more computer savvy people that might help. Seems the 2 of you are just as stupid as I was about amazon and their policies.

Again Thanks to those that explained it to me. I will not look there for supplies and have all the equipment I need for now. Maybe if I need another manual to add to my 35+ library I will look there.

Diver hunter is old school. If you read his post he just made his first purchase with amazon. I never really purchased from amazon but now that I'm piggybacking my girlfriends prime account with free shipping, damn midway is going to lose a bunch of my business

Yeah but for any Lee items you are better served at FSreloading or Titanreloading.

Amazon = fancier Ebay in a way, no auctions, but a conglomeration of folks selling things. The difference is that at Ebay you buy things and then folks rush out to Amazon and use their PRIME membership to GIFT order it and have it sent to you with free shipping and two days. Amazon people do not do that. They do not have a need to do that.

I find in most cases Amazon has a higher price on gun and ammo related items than other, more specialized vendors.

Midway is huge, and rarely have the low price. So maybe Amazon can meet or beat them

It's a toss up on Amazon. Sometimes they have stuff cheaper, sometimes not. With Prime it's generally fast and convenient and not having to wait more than a couple days. I did place an order with Titan a couple weeks back for some LoadMaster parts. They were cheaper even with $18 shipping. But the 9mm LoadMaster was on sale at Amazon when I pulled the trigger.

I was slightly annoyed with my last order from Midway when all of the trim dies I ordered (4) came open in the bag they shipped in.

Like anything you gotta look around.
