Feedback on Shell Shock 9mm cases

I'm looking for any feedback on these new Shell Shock Technologies cases. Has anyone tried them? Good, Bad or otherwise general overall info. They seem interesting but there seems to be very little information about them. Curious why they say you have to use their dies for this. Seems to me standard dies should work. Sizes should be no different.

Same size outside, weird stuff going on inside.

Looks like a solution in search of a problem to me.

        Nickel plated aluminum....

Now all they need is a lobbiest to give campaign contributions to a sleezeball senator, and the US Army will have its new SH***Y ammo.

        But, "it's for the children...."

Kinda reminds me of the new ten times more expensive round for the M4 which is "environmentally sensitive."

            This was discussed here.

Reading about their reloading dies, they say you need special dies because theirs pushes the case off the die instead of pulling the case off that that regular dies do. I suspect that pulling the case off a regular die will cause the stainless shell to separate from the aluminum base thus ruining the case. Think I will stay with brass. I don't see any advantage here and several disadvantages.

Awesome. Brass is expensive. Cant wait for technology to catch up and develop something to replace brass with cheaper and better material. An alloy that performs like brass would be awesome.

I was hoping someone has tried it out but I see no one reported in either thread. I am interested in trying it but needed to know if anyone has tried it out or made the investment and looking for feedback here at Calguns.

                    I'll continue my research!

I hear from a friend that it's great. I'm holding out to see more results over time

I was going to buy some because it was cheaper than brass, but then I was wondering why 1000 cases cost $100.

I mean new starline brass runs about $130 to $160 per 1k.

My issue is that I'm not able to retrieve all my spent brass at the range. It's just the nature of the beast.

I'd snag these for 357, 45 colt, 44 magnum, etc. But anything that ejects? Nope.
