Sorry Dooder, that was a joke also. I personally don't have a problem with SPP brass.

I'm not a good enough shot to see any difference.

Get police range brass, reload the primers with match-heads, then reload it.

Make sure that a criminal shoots these reloaded cartridges with a non-microstamped firing pin, for forensic reasons.

IRL: I ALWAYS try to pickup more than I shoot at my range...
MANY more people reload these days, so many people grab all the brass they can, with the draconian legislation on the horizon, starting next year.

Except the range clowns don't know that. And even if they did, you can ask the guy shooting if you can have his brass.

That's not the problem, it shoots just fine. It stops the 550 dead in it's tracks

Pick up a piece of brass at Skyline shooting range in Santa Cruz.

I used to shoot at Circle S in Petaluma until some young ****, range master was standing behind me picking up my brass as it was ejecting. I'm sure that little fart sniffer made up his own law.

Some ranges have it posted not to take brass unless it is your own. If it hits the ground, and the owner/shooter leaves the range, the brass becomes the property of the range. Brass is worth money. If you steal their brass you are stealing their money. I have had people steal my 9x23 brass. I would have liked to have them arrested. That brass is expensive and hard to find.

It is illegal to take things out of the garbage. Back in the 1970's I knew a couple people that were arrested for dumpster diving for scrap metal. The garbage company files charges against them. I do not know if they will still bother.

#9 on the Eff-Bea-Eye list is wanted for Dumpster Diving. Dam repeat offenders!

Naw naw naw. When the ROs at Skyline see you pick up brass, any brass...yours or not...they stop in their tracks, stop breathing...and just look at what you are doing in absolute total panic. Maybe that is why they have so many negligent shooting there. The ROs are many too busy with the brass issue.
