It was for sure the bullet not seating straight. On many of them you could actually see the offset when I flipped the seating die insert over. It was actually better when using the RN end. All of the dummies that I made with RN coated bullets dropped right into the case guage, so I know it is not the crimp.WARNING: This post will most likely contain statements that are offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense, and or maturity.

Makes sense. Will try that in the future. These were so bad that there is no way they would fit. Only went half way into the case gauge.WARNING: This post will most likely contain statements that are offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense, and or maturity.

Seems like you are getting close to the cause, and hence to the cure. This is all part of the science/hobby of reloading. Remember: your mistakes and missteps along the way are not failures if you learn from them and have practiced the appropriate safety precautions. It's all part of the intrigue that non-handloaders will will hold you in awe over :-)
Keep after it.Comment
