I kinda says that to myself too. As I have an LNL-AP still sitting in the box too...for at least 3+ years.

It's not that I'm lazy, I'm just physically conservative.

I know. There is no excuse for this, but in my defense SonofWWIIDI did the same thing.

Yes, I threw another under the bus to deflect from my own shortcomings, but I am okay with that.

Okay, here is the update.

I got it put together for the most part, but I am having difficulty getting it all adjusted properly. The Dillon dies are different than the ones I used on my red machine, and there is no adjustment except for raising or lowering the die in the tool head.

I followed the video and got all but the crimp die adjusted. The way they say to do that one causes a squished bullet and a crimp that can be seen from space. I can back the die way out, but that is going counter to what the video says to do. They are closed now, so will have to call them and get it figured out.

At least I beat SonofWWIIDI in getting it out of the box. 2011?? Good God man!!

I didn't have the video but the manual says to start with the die flush to the bottom of the tool head. I ended up way further down than flush by the time I hit a .471 crimp on my .45 dies. Pics of the seating and crimping dies for reference.

Bert, says you're from Midland - so I would suppose you have a lot of local support.

Lots of vids on YouTube too in case you get stuck in some part of the process.

TX has a forum similar to this one - I would imagine there's plenty of helpful folks on that as well.

Yep, I live in Midland now. Unfortunately I don't know many people yet, and none that reload. I will look for the Texas forum similar to CG.

I think I have it set up now, but I have a couple of questions I will put in a new thread. My crimp die ended up nowhere close to flush with the plate, but it seems to be set right. The bell is gone, and there is no depression or deformed projectile.
