Setting up my new press. Have concerns

I have had a new Dillon 650 in a box for over 3 years now, and I plan to start setting it up tomorrow. I am pretty nervous and would like for someone to tell me to pull my head out of my rear end, and all will be fine.

I did it in a weekend and was loading the next and I'm as newb as they come. Just take your time.

Did you get the dillon DVD with your press? It will walk you through step by step, and hold your hand, and tell you that you are handsome. I set my 550 up by myself, knowing nothing about reloading, and was loading the same night.
You made a good choice going with Dillon. They make it super easy, fun, and Trouble free. You won't be disappointed.

Agreed....pull yer head outta yer arse and git it done. Look at how many others have already made the trip....millions!
It's a great pass time that does nothing but enhance you shooting experience.
The age old question is; Do you shoot to reload or reload to shoot?

The Dillon 650 has a learning curve. Take your time and triple check every thing. Remember to fully pull down and again all the way to the top. Ebay has a lot of upgrades that will make your 650 run a lot smoother. I still use my RCBS rockcusher for small quantities of loads. You will be amazed at how fast finished ammo drops out into the tray. Good luck and enjoy the "BLUE".

I kinda says that to myself too. As I have an LNL-AP still sitting in the box too...for at least 3+ years.

It's not that I'm lazy, I'm just physically conservative.

The real question is why was it in the box for 3 years???
Step one: Open box
Step two: Read instructions
Step Three: Assemble unit on suitable bench
Step Four: Start loading ammo with it.
Step Five: Kick your ***, even with head still in it, for not doing the 1st four steps years ago.
