Well, as for your daughter, if she gets a monthly/weekly allowance, just start paying her in .223. She'll slow down if she's paying for it.

The wife is not a shooter but all 3 of my kids can gobble up the ammo. They are all grown up now and I make them pay for their own ammo. My middle child shoots an FAL and she was in shock when I told her it was $5.00 a mag to feed that machine, wait 'til she goes out next time and figures out that it has doubled to $10.00 a mag!! The funny thing is that she realized that she is just one of 3 little piggies that the old man has been buying ammo for for the past 20 years, at which point she says "Daddy, I love you", ahh girls.

tac is the best bang for the buck since it does with 19 grains what it would take like 27 of 748

i think of it as the bullseye of rifle powder

but i have a stinking suspicion that it is causing more throat erosion that 748

Is it just a personal preference to lube, size and trim, clean and then load? Or is that process just so you can swag in between when using a 650? I lubed and loaded some non crimped brass and so far it has come out fine. Obviously with Crimped brass I cleaned, lubed, decapped and sized, swaged, and recleaned and then loaded.
