Powder, primers and bullets for .223

Wow I really cant tell you how frustrating it is to have all of your reloading gear in place and ready to go and then you have to gather the necessarry components. This shortage SUCKS! All I want is 1lb of Hodgdon H335, 1000 small rifle primers and 500 55gr FMJBT bullets to get started. I really want to get this rolling and I'm really trying to embrace the suck, but this is ridiculous!

The suck it is. I have to find everything locally, since I do not use plastic money. There is nothing around here!

Great idea jicko, but $$ at a premium and priority was to getting the equipment first. I am located in the Sacramento area and have hit the local gun and reloading supply places on a regular basis, but have come up snake eyes each trip. Looks like I will have to get with a few buddies and do a group buy on the internet and help reduce the cost by buying in quantity. Just thought I would get a little rant off and see if anyone may have some info that may help.

                That's not even right Frank.

You should get ya some plastic money, then you will see it ALMOST as hard to find online.

Small Rifle Primers right now are REALLY hard to find.

If you are down south in LA or OC.... I would be able to point you to a place where they STOCK reloading stuffs.... but up north... someone else may need to help ya.

But this is the bottomline... once you get more than like a lb or 2 of powders.... the premium you have to pay locally would make up for the hazmat and shipping for an online order....

Widener's got Varget, Wolf primers, and bullets available right now. You might want to act quickly as these item sell out rather quickly!

Go to sportsmans warehouse in Rocklin, the one here in visalia has a decent supply of stuff, maybe not the h335 but there is a lot of 10x, and other powders that will work for your application. Good luck

It took me a month to get my comps after ordering it from powvalley.

8lb w749, 4lb w231, 2k wolf Lg pist primer, 1k wolf small rifle primer, 1k wolf large rifle primer.

I now wish I bought more! Components are very scarce or out of stock in the San Jose / South Bay Area. We aren't even talking about the wait time for online orders either.
Don't you know the rule?? Never open the safe in front of the wife!!!

Sportsmans Warehouse in Roseville = NOTHING! They have been outta stock for a while now and IF they get something in as soon as it hits the shelves it gone! Tell the Visalia store to send some to their Roseville store!

I have a family member that works at sportsmans warehouse in idaho and said none of the stores are getting CCI products. But they are getting some powder finally.
