Hey Mayor, look up prop 63 anywhere you like. I can see you didn't read any voting material.

You will also be limited to 50 rounds per month. The brilliant voters of this state think this is a good idea.

I believe it bringing back into the state carries a 50 round limit. If you went out of state and purchased without the background check.

Be nice mayor...don't go fouling up the new guys very first thread.

Cheep, your link was broken. Voter guides are a poor substitute for the very well informed. I sincerely believe you are mistaken. I have seen NO limit on quantity of ammunition purchases for commercial purposes (say walking into the shop and buying 5,000 rounds) via Prop 63 and or SB 1235

            Here's your full link: https://ballotpedia.org/California_P...zine_Ban_(2016)

The only mention of "50 round limit" is:
            Licenses to sell ammo

In July 2016, California enacted legislation to regulate the sale of ammunition. The legislation required individuals and businesses to obtain a one-year license from the California Department of Justice to sell ammunition. Hunters selling 50 rounds or less of ammunition per month for hunting trips were not required to obtain a license.

Proposition 63 established a misdemeanor penalty for failing to follow these dealer licensing requirements
As you can see, this bit is under a sub title of "Licenses to sell ammo" and the reference is actually to an exemption, that is, if you were to SELL you would not have to obtain a license under certain circumstances.

OP, take some of that savings with all these good deals posted for you and join CRPA.org.

It's only $35 and money well spent for the news service and magazine alone. Plus you'll be locking arms with other California 2a advocates to keep the 2a alive and healthy in CA.
