My guess is that CMP will contract for a run from a commercial supplier, which of course would cost more than the current prices, but less than "street" commercial. That's if they offer it at all.

But I don't have any inside info, just purely speculation on my part.....

i oder 2 spam cans but i cant wait 20 years for delivery just being ((sarcastic)) so i went 2 ck on wallmart again & found finaly they have ammo so i bought 10 boxes at 16.00 and change that should last me a while its 150 grain winchester cant tell the wife it was $182 she will not be happy good thing is the ammo is not refundable

You should, in English, ask someone more knowledgeable than myself about the wisdom of shooting said commercial ammo through a Garand, if that is your intention. The Model 70 will be fine, of course.
