I used a plastic folding table to make thousands of rounds for years. I had a 2" thick oak board that I mounded my press to with carriage bolts and I clamped the board to the table. It worked

Now that I have a larger home with a 3 car garage, my loading bench is made of flooring plywood over a section of 8"X18" laminate wood beem that I found on a job site. It is bolted to the wall. This bench doesn't even vibrate LOL.

All the suggestions above sound good

But for the folks who have loading benches in a carpeted room, you had better make sure you have an earth ground strap fastened to the press frame.

Hot dry Cali summers can mean static discharge. There is a least one case I know of, in which a primer tube exploded, and there a was an injury to the reloader.

        or
This step by step article is about portable reloading bench plans. If you need a small reloading bench for your workshop that you could carry it with you, we recommend you to take a close look over the plans described in the article.

OP, as many have said, that table you showed is not going to be good for loading on. I would suggest you look at building something, either full sized by yourself like I did. If space is limited (I used to rent 1 bedroom in a 3 bedroom place) you can build very small (2'x2') benches based off a black and decker workmate. For me it was very stable and I loaded a few thousand rounds on it without issue. The workmate is also collapsible so it can be put away if need be.

I like the old furniture idea too. I always build my benches (and they do get expensive) but if your limited on space and budget, you could probably find an old dresser or something that would give you a solid base, good clear top and drawers for storage.

My sister had an old dresser that was small and sturdy but weighed a ton and was made out of quality wood. She ended up giving it away when she moved because it was a monster to move around. However this would probably have made for a pretty decent budget bench.

When I first started reloading I C-clamped my RL 550B (on a strong mount) to a TV tray and loaded over 800 rounds that way. It was a little wobbly, but it worked. Now I have a nice workbench and all of my equipment is organized and mounted correctly, but you will be surprised what you can mount a press to and get away with it (though I wouldn't recommend it)

I mounted press to the drill press. I also have a dillon 550 I swap out with c clamps.
