    40 Super

Anyone here load it? What dies are you using? I've only ever used Dillon dies, so I am used to seating and crimping on separate steps.

The only dies I can find now are from Redding, and it appears that the three die sets are: size/deprime, expand, and seat/crimp. Anyone have luck running these in a Dillon 550b? Any problems I might not be thinking about?

Here are the exact dies in question

    Wow!

"With a 200 grain bullet the .40 Super delivers more foot-pounds of energy at 100 yards than the .45 ACP does at the muzzle."

Sorry to jack your thread. lol.

The 40 super appears to be to 45 ACP what 9x25 dillon is to 10mm. 135gr pill coming out at almost 2,000 fps. That's why I'm intrigued.

Hoping someone here has some experience with the cartridge and can offer up and helpful tips they've come across.

          40 Super? I thought it was called a 10mm.

Sounds like a lot of barrel-wearing fun though...

That is what all the 9mm guys "with small hands" say to the 40 guys...

Lone wolf barrels are cheap. Wrist surgery is not, though

The paper targets have been pretty aggressive at my local range. Need to teach them a lesson.

If it's your money have at it. Some of the experienced members here have gone thru that phase as well. Lucy for me, I wanted a real Walther.
