    Hornady 55gr. W/cannelure group buy?

Looking in to the possibility of a small group buy for the Hornady 55gr. Bullets.

Just looking to gauge interest? Looking to bring around $75.00 per K picked up or plus shipping.

I might be interested depending on location and price.

There's a better deal out there than 8 cents per round somewhere. Even Brownells has them for cheaper than that and you wouldn't have to do a group buy. (http://www.brownells.com/reloading/b...-_-Custom+Link)

If you can come in at < .06 / round I'm in. Brownell's is $.0725 ea. per 6k delivered

Did you guys see this thread a few spaces down? https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1225795

From some testimonials, these 55 FMJ might be as or more accurate as the Hornady bullets. They're out of Carson City Nv. and manufacture their own .224" 55 FMJ W/ Cannelure. About the same price as the Hornady. THere's a number of rave reviews.

First this is not for folks who want to buy a full 6,000. Next shipping did come in to play on the order price. Last time I bought the Hornady bulk bullets I bought 18,000 and spent about 6 hours weighing and packaging them up for everyone. Some folks bought one K some bought 2. No one bought a full 6K. Now to top that each box of 6,000 was short from 150 to 225 pieces. I had to eat that from my portion of the order. Now do the math 7.5 cents per is better than 8 cents per. The Brownell's price comes in at 7.25 cents per. Feel free to do the leg work. I will simply buy a box for myself or if one or two want to split a box we can see if I can squeeze it down some.

You can count on me to get at LEAST 500 if you want to buy a box... I won't let you down, you can take whatever is short out of my numbers, as LONG as it is no more than 1 bullet... And if they ARE short, then we are going to be making some phone calls...

But no seriously, I am down to catch you from falling. Just be sure to tell me what you are thinking of and I am either down or down to mod it... If they do not take away my OT tomorrow, then I will be down to split. If they DO, then I gotta know what a split costs first... I am just raising enough money to buy my ARF-P and I am selling my Beretta shotty to do so...

I just sent word out to mah peeps on the East Side... We will see what they say... But seriously, I will take at least 250 from you...

Interesting, they don't have any .223 bullets listed on the website.

Anyone who wants to use another manufacturers bullets is wellcome to set it up and do the leg work. I did a buy a few years Back when bullets were hard to find. I felt they were junk. 3 MOA and some were under sized. I will not do that again. I run Hornaday bullets and like the quality.
