I currently use the Lee turret classic deluxe and am considering the Hornady Lock n Load AP.

I currently reload:
9MM
.223
.308
30-06
6.5 creed
300Blkout

For the most part I use the Lee as a single stage as the powder dispenser isn't so great for rifle rounds.

Would my dies from LEE work in the Lock n Load AP?

Is it worth the investment?

Subpar and expensive.

I know because I have one. Look to get a RCBS QC Powder Dropper.

Here is the main reason why:

Hornady makes you buy a separate rotor for pistols. It costs you about another $50, the dropper WITH the case activated linkage already is around $130 on a good day.

Get the RCBS and it only uses ONE single rotor and that Rotor will take pistol tubes and rifle tubes. Also, the RCBS rotor does not use any o-rings (that cost $3.57 each to replace).

The RCBS is supposedly good at measuring out 700-X powder and what not.

The LNL Dropper is very good at measuring 700-x and others like that with the pistol rotor, the rifle rotor can cause a shift in variance by a larger margin.

Although I love me some RED reloading gear, I love me BETTER gear if it costs the same price or less. The RCBS quick change uniflow type dropper is stellar for the price. You can get them all over on Fleabay right now...
