Reloading for Dummies classes

I'll second the reloading training offered by Big Bronco and the team of NRA Metallic Cartridge Reloading Class instructors. Easy to absorb, very hands on, safety focused, with lots of information. If you're new to reloading or even thinking about reloading, the class is well worth the time and the few dollars you'll spend on the class. Reloading is fun, you can produce high quality ammunition and you'll add a new dimension to your shooting.

Why are there no NRA Instructor certification courses for metallic reloading in the entire country?

What can we do to get a course set up so more people can be certified instructors? I have been reloading for about 10 years and would be interested in being certified ...

There is. The NRA site should be able to direct you to a class in your area .

No. There aren't. That's what I am saying. Search nets zero results. In fact, there seem to be shockinly few NRA Instructor certification courses of ANY type.

Check the MobileMarksman.com website. I took the NRA reloading course from him, and it was well worth the time, in my opinion. He might still be running the course when asked.

Since you are in Redlands, drive up to Angeles Shooting Range. They offer a reloading class. Call them.

I myself have been beyond busy to carry the torch on this. Soon things will clear up. We have the wedding of our daughter next month and a grandchild coming in a few months. In a few weeks I will be teaching a friend to reload. I can squeeze one or two more in if there is an interest. I am located on the LA /OC boarder. La Mirada. I can only teach on Sundays.

I learned to reload by watching the ammosmith videos on YouTube and reading the ABC's of reloading. It doesn't matter the first time you shoot your own reloads you will cringe.

I 1st learned with a Lee hand loader [ 270 ] Either wind , rain , bush - bullets were not going where I wanted .
Next came the 45 ACP .
Now I am on a lee load master .
I would suggest 1st - buy a reloading book [ I like the Hodgdon and Searia notebook types ] but I probably have about 20 of them .
Back to you - 1st - buy a reloading book , then a lee hand loader for your caliber and load a few magazines .

There are a lot of us who want to learn reloading but have no clue. Are there any reloading for dummies classes? If not are some of you old pro's willing to teach us noobs?

$100 for a 6 hour class includes a Lymann manual. $75 for follow up visits of 6 hours.
$50 just to pick my brain for two hours

I've loaded everything from .22 hornet to 300 win mag. check the web page for list of stuff I can support. I'll be adding dies for the .416 Rigby and .408 Cheytac soon. But that is my stuff and if you want to load that stuff I would assume you already load.

Located in San diego and weekends only. I do one class a month one on one.
