I accidentally mixed CCI 500 and 550 in my primer load tray and I made some rounds with them. From what I've been reading, it really shouldn't be a problem unless I'm pushing up against the max load or unless I'm using an especially fast powder.
I'm working up loads with Ramshot Silhouette (5.7grn, max. 5.9grn) and Winchester AutoComp (5.5grn, max. 5.7grn) behind 115grn plated RN. I have also pushed out the COAL 5/1000ths from the recommended 1.140 and put on a small crimp.
Should I be worried? Is there anything I should be looking for other than the normal overpressure signs? Thoughts?
When I switch back to all 500s, should the results for those loads still be valid for performance?
