    It finally broke!

My Lee Auto-Prime, bought in 1980 has expired.

I don't know how many thousands of cases I've primed with it. I feel a moment of silence is needed.

    OK, I'm alright....... I think

Man, that reminds me, that I can't find my tray for mine. Looks like I'm going to have to buy another one.

Mine still works. I went to the new one, doesn't work any better or worse, well maybe a little worse. If you don't hold it just right, the following primer to the one being seated rises up on the blocking pin, and can fall clean out of the tool. Might go back to old faithful.

I will buy the arm(lever, the part you press to seat the primer) from it.
I have 2 with worn out arms

                    Haha beat me to it.

OP, they don't usually break there. The thumb lever usually breaks at the pivot.

IDK why Lee doesn't still make those. They were the best.

Now you've got me worried, my 1981 model is still running.

The clear plastic tray has been glued back together a few times and it's turned yellow but the metal parts are still good.

They don't make that model anymore and they no longer have most of the replacement parts.
Call them as they might have a body still laying around.

I am gearing up for a match but will check to see if I have what you need. I have gone through 4 of them and at one time had a box of spare parts.

eBay is the answer if Lynn can't set you up. I've bought a couple there ($15-$20ish) as backup in case my 2nd breaks. I called Lee years ago when my 1st AP broke (about 4 months after XL came out) and they offered me a XL for 1/2 price IIRC (refused to even discuss replacement parts). I later on bought an XL, but it is not the same and would advise again it. I am interested in the new ergo model if anyone as info on it.

                          Good Luck,

WHAT??!! Only 36 years of service??!! What a piece of junk!

This proves that everything Lee makes is crap!

There, just wanted to beat the "blue boys" for a change. I am a big Lee fan, I'm sorry for your loss. I have one of the new Ergo Primes, I like it and I hope it serves me half as long as yours did.

Fjold---Thanks for the help if you are able and thanks for taking the time to look. I have 2-3 of them with broken/worn out thumb arms.
sghart--I have several that lasted less than 1 year. I contacted them way back and they were no help. One time they said if I mail them the unit WITH the original receipt they would LOOK at it and decide. ----Yes lee makes some junk and has poor service
CCRAWFORD---I buy the new ones(which are real crap) for $15-18 new. I looked on ebay and when I did they had a couple for parts but the missing(I presume broken) part was the thumb lever which is the one part I needed.

I tried to use the lever from the new one on my old one but no-go
