Any one else stocking up on components?

I have 5k bullets ready for reloading. These are all Extreme Bullets. I have about 4k of other brands too. When you shoot 400 to 500 rounds a week. This does not last long.

I always buy something when I see a decent price. I've never run out of anything in 15 years of reloading.

I usually buy when things are on sale, but why the need to stock up on plated pills? I only buy lead when I find it for a cheap price...

It's an election year... There is always some Democrat in this state pushing some legislation driving the cost up every year, AND after every tragedy, so it's a good idea (especially for all the people new here that haven't experienced any of the shortages and price-gouging, yet).

Definitely stocking up all I can afford to. Unfortunately that means not a lot this year, have other things I need to put money toward but have a pretty good stash from the past two years of components. Would like to have around 30K of .30-06/7.5mm/.308 and 50k of .223 but not there yet. The prices aren't getting any cheaper. Scored a great deal on those S&B primers at $17.99 per 1k from Cabelas. There are some really good deals out there right now, even on .22 ammo! Saw Riflegear had CCI SV for .08 per round. Not killer but pretty good.

Of course. I already ordered my powder now all I need are my primers and projectiles. I'll definitely be doing another group buy for Xtreme in the next month or two.

I only stock up when they are on sale. I have more lead coming from American Reloading. I just loaded 200 rounds this morning.

                    Good start on stocking up
I have a large stock of projectiles but remember to stock up on primers and powder also. I tend to stockpile primers and powder more then projectiles if i got desperate I could cast those.

Of course stay under the powder limit in California

When you store all of your powder in your rafters it is EASY to stay under that limit.

You should of course have a good supply of everything you might need, and be taking advantage of sales, group buys, etc. You might also check out some of the coated bullet companies instead of just doing plated. Get some sample packs at Blue Bullets and BBI and Bayou and see what you think. That gives you more options in case of a shortage if nothing else.

It is easy to stay under the California powder limit, do not store it all at one location. My brother that shoots keeps supplies at his house. My moms house has another supply there.

What'd stilly get banned for? I'm surprised someone actually read all of his long winded posts in order to catch a violation.
