Winchester Rebate Scam?

The first week of Dec. 2015 I mailed in the proper box upc, form and sales receipt for a $20 shot gun slug rebate.

3 months later no show. Two contacts with customer service and still no check.
It was processed on 2/5/2016.

Buyer beware, my guess is they never send these rebates hoping people forget.

I will never buy Winchester anything any more.

Well they promise 6-8 weeks, so a little more than guessing

Yep and mine was processed on Feb 5th, with two follow ups with CS since the check was "going out soon" scam?

I received my rebate from Winchester within 4 weeks of submitting my rebate.

This is one reason I hate the rebate thing. Just give me my discount at time of purchase. This is way to "female" of a business scheme. No cards no rebates just the price at purchase. Done with rant for the day.

I usually get the checks in the mail just about the time I forget about 'em.
