    Ammonpulver

Anybody know anything about using Ammonpulver? It's understood to be an early smokeless powder and rather easy to make and supposedly approximates IMR 3031. Even though the reloading supply chain has caught up since 2012, It might be nice to have fallback options that don't rely on available components. Because of that shortage, I have already learned mill black powder for firearms that are able to use black powder, with performance comparable to GOEX. I'm aware of sugar fuels, having used them for model rocketry, but I haven't tried making any for firearms use yet. I'd like to look into something that more closely matches the performance of smokeless powders in case powder becomes difficult to source again. It wasn't the projectiles that I ran out of during the shortage, it was the powder that I could never keep on hand.
If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.

The only problem I can see is obtaining the Ammonium Nitrate since it became a somewhat controlled substance after the Oklahoma City federal building bombing. I know nothing about obtaining Potassium Nitrate in quantity.

Making powder is one thing I don't want to attempt. I've seen more than a few videos of it going south/bad. Time to stock up is now if this is a concern.

Turns out strike anywhere matches work as a priming compound. Reloaded a few small pistol primers last night and they all worked... with hangfires.
