    Interesting Case found while sorting...

Posting this just for bits and giggles, but look at this little gem I found when sorting some indoor range pick ups...
I'm no expert, but it sure looks like someone ran this 40 through a 45?
Probably saw it laying on the ground and thought they found a free bullet!? Hahaha...
Might have liked to watched that, but from behind the glass of course... (as long as no one got hurt)

    lol, seen plenty of 9mmto.40, I don't think I've seen a .40to.45 before.
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

Hahaha, I would have never thought! First time I've seen something like that, but then again haven't been picking up or looking at brass very long either...
It just amazes me (but yet at the same time it doesn't) that some one would load an incorrect round into a gun and pull the trigger. I mean, either you're new to the game and wouldn't know better, but think that'd force someone to be cautious of what they're doing, or you've got some experience and should know better!?
      Oh humans...

I think I know who this belongs to, I think his gun blew up recently and is in the pistol section, Yeah, he just blew up his kimber...

No I am not going to link, it is a bs thread that someone tried to bash reloaded ammo in... My ammo is all butt-hurt now so out of respect for my ammo I will not post a link...

So obviously went and checked out what happened to that poor kimber stilly!
But I can assure you this case was picked up long before and far away from the crime scene I just read about, but it did have me curious for a minute!

Yep. I think it is prolly him! That is prolly why he won't say what the ammo was he was using!

As interesting as that would be, it would have had to happen over a month ago and a hundred miles away, highly unlikely...

When I shoot the Deagle with H-110 powder the shells try to hit the ground and run forward- they sometimes make it about 10' out in front past the lane.

On his Kaboom- who knows HOW far that shell flew... a hundred miles away? Hmmm, yeah, sounds about right.

There was a guy selling a 65lb bag of shot but the shot bag only said it contained 25lbs of shot. So where was the remaining 40 lbs at? WE SAW THE PHOTO. And a MOD deleted our inquisitive posts and removed the ad from the discussion area. I do not think I had turned the ad in, I honestly wanted to know where the remaining 40 lbs of shot was also. This person selling that shot could have very well had a home made inter-dimensional 25lb bag of shot that he had created somehow AND filled it with an additional 40 lbs of shot. Do you know what that means? That means that without the genetic imprint of a Timelord, anyone else that attempted to get inside that bag could have simply molecularly destabilized and then wouldn't THAT be great PR for all of the reloaders. Can you imagine THOSE headlines? Can you imagine THOSE bills and laws that the asshats in Sacramento would pass then?

This is no joking matter. The future is at stake here. I am working on an app that will allow me to detect the presence of dark matter and interdimensional transmissions and hopefully I can track down the seller of that 65lb bag of SHOT. But in the meantime, we need to keep an eye on things like this. This could open a rift and allow a whole new type of illegal alien into California if this stuff continues to go unchecked and we do nothing about it. Shells could be flying out of kabooms and landing hundreds of miles away... Seems legit.

The explanation is very simple, the OP with his Kimber was testing out a new dark matter bullet, it fired, created an immediate worm hole where it sent the bullet shell and transported a portion of the firearm into another dimension and INTO something (because two types of matter can not occupy the same space at the same time) by process of interpolation. The bullet hit the blockage caused by interpolating the barrel with hmm, say a tree or dense mass of some sort, kaboomed and the kaboom pushed his firearm BACK OUT of the tear in the time-space fabric before it closed up and he is left with a bright flash in his face, a kaboomed and shredded Kimber (does not take much to shred a Kimber anyways) and is having a hard time explaining to everyone what happened.

If De Leon ever gets wind that there are dark matter bullets being made, reloading will be completely banned from CA PERIOD. Clearly Kimbers can not take the rift exposure from the interdimensional traveling as clearly shown in his photo. He has done EVERYONE a great disservice by dabbling with reloaded dark matter pills and then posting his failed experiments on Calguns. That should be posted in a Kimber Forum that is NOT linked to reloading in California. We should all push to have that thread deleted and NEVER talked about in anymore detail on this site.

Mr. Affiliated, are there any HARD or DENSE objects at the range where you picked up that shell? Did anyone report any weird things, like a barrel suddenly appearing out of thin air and blowing up before that shell appeared? Did you happen to see that? I am thinking that it happened and you might not have seen the barrel since it probably showed up inside of something (remember the interpolation...) and that is how this happened...

The ammo is either made by him or by Oaktree (convenient scapegoat) but why would Oaktree make such ammo and sell it off unless they are playing with the dimensional barriers themselves and wanted an unsuspecting test subject...

Gentlemen, I think it is time to pack your bug out bag and be ready to move at a moment's notice. This **** is about to get real...

The brass case shown in the pic would not have caused the weapon failure we saw on the Kimber. This case was simply "fireformed" to whatever chamber it was shot it, probably a .45. In order to get that kind of "kaboom" like what we saw on the Kimber, the case head and primer should have been blown out the back and probably some splitting of the case body. Primer would not looked rounded like in the pic, which shows no overpressure really.

How do I know, I did something really similar with shooting a 9mm out of my Glock 20 (10mm). Nothing happened. Bullet exited, and my 9mm case looked exactly like this. Gun was perfectly fine.

That is why I now do not take my 10mm out until all my 9mm stuff (gun, ammo, etc) is back in the case/backpack.

Personally, I think he expanded a .40 case with his .45 expander and simply DUMPED the case at the range so someone would pick it up and ask the question.
Doesn't not appear to be expanded down to the web.

If they feed, shoot em. Maybe I'll buy some .40 ammo and run it through my .45. Save me some $$$$. (I don't shoot a Kimber. I shoot a Llama.) I got noting to lose.
