Here's what I've learned about buying locally.
Forget it.
Turners - Overpriced
EC-GE - Similar to Chief with experience, but not as bad.
And no body seems to have anything good in stock.
My suggestions:
Cleaning material - Petsmart (Crushed walnut for reptiles)
Powder / Primers - DelMar gun show at a minimum, large group purchase or go out of state to Vegas or Phoenix for better Gun Show prices.
Bullets - Order online, buy in bulk to save $$$. Stay away from Keed Bullets and a few others. TJ Convera(Sp?), Precision Delta, Montana Gold and a host of others are good deals.
Brass - No need to buy virgin brass unless you're rich, especially in 9mm. I reuse as much brass as I can. If it cracks, I get rid of it. I reload 9, 357sig, 40, 45, 10mm and 223. Never bought one piece of new brass.
GL to ya. The guys at ironsights are great. Get into one of the monthly matches (IDPA/IPSC) and you'll find other reloaders like yourself.

There is a local guy that sells primers and powder for about what they cost online, or pretty darn close. He lives up towards Alpine. I'll get his contact info. He used to sell stuff at the San Diego Shotgun Sports range by Miramar. John Lumm?

His name is John Lumn. He is still selling at San Diego Shotgun Sports at Miramar even though the shooting range is closed. They are open for business for a few hours each day and John is there with his wares. He mostly services the shotgun sports. But, he can and will get any supplies you want.

Discount Gun Mart also has some reloading supplies. Noticed that when I was in there today.
Chief - American Shooting Center has media, plus Dillon brass polish, etc.

I used to clean first, and deprime as part of the resizing process.
But now I prefer to deprime, then clean. The spent primer has most of the lead toxins that you'll encounter during the reloading process, so I like to minimize it.

OP: get stuff from www.powdervalleyinc.com ; you can almost get ANYTHING you need there.... even with Hazmat and shipping, you are still ahead...
When are they going to pay me a visit??? I had 50lbs incoming. And I had 2x that amount 6mos ago too. From GBs.....
