I don't think you can turn that off but you can call RCBS and let us know what they say.

Charging 24 grains using IMR 4064 is 20 sec. For me, that is faster than using a 1010 and a trickler. If you are getting 18 sec per charge, you are doing good.

OCD and 6 Sigma can mess you up!

I load 69s and 77s on a Dillon 550. I load 80s on a Rockchucker and use the Chargemaster. Since I load way fewer 80s I don't use the Chargemaster that much and the extra time it takes is not that big of a deal. If you use a progressive for short line ammo you can have loaded rounds in less time than it takes to charge cases with the Chargemaster.

And I DVR football games so I can shoot and see my team lose all in the same day.

Just got off the phone and RCBS says there's no way to remove/minimize the counter. Bummer.

Ha! True that. But in my defense, I'm an automation/process engineer; I'm always looking for ways to optimize a process. Killing this counter is an obvious way to do just that. It's just too bad RCBS doesn't agree.

          Ah well. Onward and upward.

Another thing we can do in California besides surfing and skiing.
