I'm sitting on $500 of Amazon credit and thinking of picking up the RCBS Pro Chucker 5 which can be delivered tomorrow for $517. Not much user reviews when doing the standard Google search.
I load 9mm, .38/.357, .40, .45acp, .223 on single stage RCBS Rock Chucker and RCBS 5 stage progressive Piggy Back 2. I use 5 stations as I bought taper crimps to crimp on its own stage.
Dillion 550 isn't an option as that is a 4 stage. Dillion 650 on Amazon is $650 which all come packaged with one caliber. 4 RCBS tool heads ($20) and 5 RCBS shell plates($30-$40) will cost me up to $280 max. 4 Dillion tool heads ($40), 4 shell plates ($40) and 1 quick primer change ($80) I am at $400. Add the higher price of a 650 and it is $550, almost double what I would spend on a Pro Chucker 5.
I am perfectly fine with the piggy back I currently use as it gets the job done. I just figured with $500 Amazon credit I could get something reloading related. To spend $550 to replace what I currently have doesn't seem like a good deal to me. I rather spend a couple hundred more and buy another gun. $280 seems reasonable to pay for an upgrade I really don't need. Any thoughts besides "Dillion is the BEST EVER!!!". Really want to hear actual user reviews on Pro Chucker 5.
