    FGMM 308 brass peeling

Just received my FGMM from Palmetto. Have you guys seen this? It's not dirt. Tried to clean them but won't come off. I guess it is the brass peeling? Bullet is good and clean. Shot them and no problems.

That's just residue from when the brass was being rinsed clean.
    It's not PEELING.
Fire the brass, then tumble it in stainless pins and those marks will go away.

It's fine. Tumbling even in dry media after you shoot it will probably shine it up. That said, the FGMM brass is of an alloy that is quite soft and it doesn't have a long reloading life. The primer pockets will give out after 2-3 loadings if you use loads that are near maximum. I use it for 308 since it's abundant, reasonably consistent, but I'd certainly not buy it for loading brass.

my opinion: Someone is using bad habits when cleaning their brass. The necks appear to have etching.

It is from improperly cleaned brass. The cleaning solution was dirty and left spots, or it wasn't rinsed with deionized water.

                  TIME OUT.

You mean when I get my Maserati GT I will have to keep it cleaned in order for it to look cool?

Does that same rule apply for a Jag F-type? (2014-2015 of course)
