Hornady LNL case feeder issue

I've been running my case feeder for several thousand rounds with relatively no issues. Bowl feeds cases fine.. Case slide timing and everything has been great.

The only problem I have is when running the ram up into the dies, the push rod can push and tilt the pivot block up, causing the pivot to not fully actuate and drop the case down. I have triple checked that the cap screw is holding onto the pivot block tight (even slightly crushing the tube.. I added a larger washer to distribute the force to the folds of the tube), but still moves. I have tried making micro adjustments to the length of the push rod, but it either isn't long enough to full actuate the pivot, or ends up pushing the pivot block up. If I hold my hand and press down on the pivot block during the up stroke, all goes well..

Any ideas?

I had issues with my casefeeder on the Lee Loadmaster.

You should have a look at your case feeder setup and see if there is a way to make it higher (is that correct?) or else maybe lower that push rod that actuates the feeder. That is essentially what I had to do with my Lee case feeder. Albeit a bit differently, but still had to adjust for that... GL and keep us posted. Hopefully someone else can come in here and actually know how to correct this. WITHOUT buying a Dillon of course...

Can't set the pivot block higher.. it is mounted into a pre-drilled hole in the support tube.

I've lowered the adjustable length push rod as much as I feel I can.. but going lower won't fully actuate the pivot block. Going slightly longer will push the block up.. can't find that middle ground.

Do they offer a different sized push rod? Can something be mounted upside down or backwards?

Only one size for the push rod.. it's length is adjustable my rotating a piece.. Not mounted backwards.. only goes one way.

I believe I might have fixed it tonight... The pivot block and block had some resistance between each other (metal on metal).. I filed down a small bur that I believe was causing enough resistance for the pivot motion to translate vertically. So far, so good.

I had a similar issue. They sent me a new pivot block screw. The collared portion of the new screw was longer if I remember correctly giving more freeplay to the pivot block when the screw is fully torqued. Call hornady.
