I do not know about the lnl but yes, the Lee metal looks like Cast Lead that was too hot and has the cool metal flashing/ geometric types of shapes in it.
It was not too easy to drill but not the hardest either. I was able to use my Makita hybrid drill/driver/hammer to drill a 1/4" hole using a HSS bit.7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

After 9 months, I would like to know if you are still using this setup. Still have the light in there? still functional? any improvements? Think the light there would still work if I had (because I have) 20 super-bright white LEDs under the turret? Think a red or green or blue light could cut through so much white?
Ever consider snaking the cable up through the ram from the bottom?Comment

I just made about 2k 9mm about 3 weeks ago, but I have removed the Loadmaster so that I can put my LCT back on and make 44 mag. In all honesty I want to get the .45 and .44 mag shell plates for the LM and actually put ALL of my dies onto LM plates, but I have already invested in dies and LCT turrets so it is a moral dilemma for me.After 9 months, I would like to know if you are still using this setup. I only run the light when I am priming and I was sent an upgraded priming system from Lee after I was done so I have not yet installed that.
I DID get different leds. I found some flat topped SUPERbright LEDS that I can plug into it instead of the green. The new LEDS are designed to shiny from the top in a wide angle. In all honesty, you only need a single led shining UP right underneath the shell, no matter what color, it should shine through any whites you have, but some colors might show better. Green or blue might be better. I have not run anything through the RAM because I am afraid of snagging the bottom somehow. I already forgot to close the door and pulled the handle and then bent the door, now I got it bent back, but still it was a pita.
I now have a shake brake but I have not yet installed it. I am going to see if I can maybe get a different mount and make it more solid than what it is now just to eliminate any possibility of having bad primers.7 Billion people on the planet. I commend you for putting this much time and effort into a load master. My first progressive was A load master.
Needless to say it was so aggravating I almost quit loading all together.
Got a 550 use for a good deal and fell back in live with reloading.NRA Endowment Life Member

I can not go with a Dillon just yet.
I have really been eyeballing the Rock Chucker PC-5 and since I have $150+ in gift cards, I might get the price down a bit, IF I do not get that G2 chrony first.
BUT- Tell me this- Do ANY of the Dillons take 50 BMG dies?
Or rather, are any of the Dillons set up to make use of the Quick Change bushings from Lee or Hornady?
I REALLY like the idea of a progressive that can take a quick change bushing. Somebody here is running a LNL with the quick change bushings. If that is the LNL AP then that just scored HUGE points with me, but if it is a regular LNL then that is still good, but I am wondering if any progressive can take the QC bushings...7 Billion people on the planet. I am thinking back to what Hank said to Walter at the second or third to last episode of the series when the guys had them at gunpoint and had them digging the hole or whatever...
So then let me rephrase that. Do any of the Dillon presses have a quick change die setup like the LNL AP or can they accept a QC bushing set like the Rock Chucker or LCC ?Last edited by stilly; 07-09-2016, 1:06 AM.7 Billion people on the planet. No.
Toolheads are the same price as a set of the bushings so Dillon users simple change the whole toolhead with the dies in it.
This allows you to leave the belling adjustment setup for each die set.Randall Rausch

Not usually.
The bushings make them too big to fit most die boxes.
I mostly use Redding and RCBS dies and I know that LNL bushings don't fit in those.
Hornady boxes are different and probably have room for the bushings since Hornady loves selling extra bushings to people.
With dillon toolheads, you just store the dies IN the toolhead so that the whole toolhead just slides into the press with 2 pins when you are ready to use it.Randall Rausch

Yeah I look at all of my Turrets/Toolheads I bought for the LCT and I am like, DAMN, I did not know I had enough for 12+ calibers.- Why, that is nearly $100 in extra turrets!7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...
